Xan Confections is committed to making premier chocolates using the finest natural ingredients. Our products are made fresh and packaged to keep them in perfect condition upon arrival at your doorstep. If you or those who receive your gift are not completely satisfied, we will make it right with either an appropriate replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

 

Shipping and Handling

We only use the most effective delivery services available to ensure your order arrives on time and in perfect condition.

  • To ensure freshness we only ship on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.
  • All deliveries are made on business days only.
  • A $6 warm weather handling surcharge will be added to all orders for special packaging materials.
  • Shipments are made out of Orange County, California

  • Shipments to FPO and APO addresses are made via USPS.  Shipments to PO Boxes will not be permitted.

Warm weather

In order to keep your chocolate from melting, we use special cooling materials when shipping to warm weather areas. Depending on the temperature, shipping method and transit time, we use reusable ice packs, and/or insulated boxes or packaging materials. To cover the cost of these additional materials, each shipment has a $6 warm weather handling surcharge from April 1 thru October 30, or as warm weather persists.

During warmer weather, we cannot guarantee your chocolates will arrive safely unless they are shipped overnight express and arrive within 24 hours, or assume responsibility for damage due to delay of undeliverable shipments. In the event an order needs to be re-shipped, additional charges may apply.

When completing your order, please select the appropriate shipping method for your needs and season.

Saturday Delivery

UPS delivers Monday through Friday, for Saturday delivery, please specify in the comment section of your order. Be aware that there will be an additional charge to your total cost of shipping for Saturday delivery.

International Shipments

If you are interested in placing an order and would like us to ship overseas, we must warn you of the risks involved with shipping products internationally. Most of the time we ship overseas with success; however, on rare occasions products can be confiscated in customs and never returned to us nor arrive at their intended destination. Upon receipt of payment from you, we guarantee that your order will be processed and shipped to any address of your choice. However, in the event that your order is lost, stolen, damaged or confiscated while in transit internationally, we offer no refund or return policy. We have had many successful experiences shipping internationally, but you should be aware of the risks as you continue with your order.

Delivery Guarantee

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of all information, we reserve the right to make corrections if an error does occur. Please check all addresses carefully. Postal and delivery services will not forward. We guarantee delivery only to the addresses we are given.

Credit Cards

For Internet, Telephone, FAX and Retail orders, we accept VISA, Master Card, and American Express- please include card number and the month and year it expires and 3 digit CVV/CID code on back of card. If you intend to mail your order, we accept credit cards, and personal and company checks. Your credit card will be charged at the time your first paid item is shipped.

Checks

We accept company checks.

Discounts

Promotional coupons or discounts must be taken and applied at time of order.

 

Gift Card or Gift Certificate Terms and Conditions

  • Gift Cards or Gift Certificates are available and may be used for in store purchases only.
  • Gift Cards or Gift Certificates once issued may used for purchasing Xan Confections products or services, however shall not be redeemable for cash.
  • The holder of a Gift Card may reload or add value to the gift card.
  • Issuer shall not be responsible for any Gift Cards or Gift Certificates used without your permission, or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed Gift Cards or Gift Certificates.
  • Gift Cards or Gift certificates for awards, loyalty, or promotional programs without any exchange of money shall expire within 30 days after the date of issuance.
  • Gift Cards or Gift certificates that are sold to employers or to nonprofit and charitable organizations for fundraising purposes shall expire within 30 days after the date of sale.
  • Gift Cards shall expire in the event there has been no activity on the gift card for 24 consecutive months, including, but not limited to, purchases, the adding of value, or balance inquiries.
  • Gift Cards may not be returned and are non-refundable.

Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with any product, simply return the remaining portion within 5 days for a full refund of the product purchase price.
